Anyone age 55 and better is invited to get inspired, connect with others, and get creative with Mather, a not-for-profit dedicated to creating Ways to Age Well at the International Museum of Surgical Science.

We’ll gather in the Museum for the following:

• Enjoy an exclusive tour of the Museum galleries.
• Join us for light refreshments & discussion in the Hall of Immortals.
• Explore the wellness benefits of seasonal spices and create your own mulling spice blend to take home. We will sample mulled cider and learn more about the art and application of aromatherapy.

About the Teaching Artist:

Ruthe Guerry is an art therapist and practicing artist who develops and leads inquiry-based, creative programming. Her passion is informed by her training in dementia care, Master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling, and years of experience working with older adults as a caregiver and clinician. Ruthe is an herbalist, meditator, and maker.
