Why Shino?
Shino glaze dates back to 16th-century Japan and is treasured for its unique ability to create soft, natural textures ranging from milky whites to burnt oranges. It was the first white glaze ever developed in Japan and is deeply tied to traditional tea ware — especially chawan (matcha bowls).
