Matakana War Memorial Anzac Day Service 2026Join us as we gather to remember and reflect.
This year’s theme is “The War Came Home.”
A time to honour those who served, and the families and communities who carried the weight of war.

With guest appearances by musicians Kenny Luond and Terry Prince.
Young Andrew Graham will recite the Rudyard Kipling poem “My Boy Jack.”
Parking is available at the Matakana Community Parking Lot, between the Memorial and Matakana School.
Everyone is welcome.
After the service, take time to linger in the village.
Stop at the Tramcar Cafe for Anzac biscuits and tea.
