About this Event
Description of class: This Mat Pilates class uses these combined and isolated movements to build control, core strength, balance, and muscular endurance. This workout emphasizes the use of the core muscles, hip flexors, thighs, lower back, glutes, arms, and legs flowing with the beat of the music. This is an all-levels class! No matter if you’re a beginner or veteran, this class is for YOU. Modifications are welcome!
Bio: Sosha is the owner and lead teacher of House of Wellness (HOW), with nearly eight years of experience in Pilates. Her journey in wellness was shaped by the challenges of being one of the few Black women in many studios, which inspired her to create HOW—a welcoming, inclusive space for Black women and WOC to feel seen, supported, and empowered. Guided by faith and fueled by community, Sosha’s mission extends beyond Pilates, fostering belonging and transformation. At HOW, every client is valued, celebrated, and embraced as part of a greater wellness journey.
