✨ Masters of Social Dancing — Oakland Edition ✨📅 Sept 4–7 (Labor Day Weekend)

Gui Prada’s approach to Zouk has always been trailblazing—less about collecting moves, more about how the dance actually *feels*. This shift enhances the way you understand the depths of connection in Zouk, and just how **rich** social dancing can be.
Masters of Social Dancing (MoSD) in Oakland is curated to be the growing social dancer's dream.
It’s a Brazilian Zouk training focused on the qualities that make a dance feel good—attuned connection, flavorful musicality, endless adaptability.
💫 Chapter 1 focus:
• 🧭 Floorcraft (how you move through space)
• 👣 Footwork (control, clarity, adaptability)
• 🎵 Musicality & versatility
Chapter 1 is the first part of a 3-module quest. Reach out to Zouk Roll for information on MoSD Chapter 2 and Vitalidad Movements Arts Center (VMAC) for information on MoSD Chapter 3.

🎮 How the Training Works:
• 🧑🤝🧑 Train in small groups (“parties”) and as a full cohort—creating a more connected, collaborative learning space
• 📈 Receive real feedback on how your dancing *feels* to different partners (not just how it looks)
• 🗺️ Work toward personal goals (“quests”) that guide your focus throughout the weekend
• 🔄 Build in time to reflect, integrate, and actually *apply* what you’re learning
• 💛 Focus on skills you can bring immediately into the social to become someone's favorite dancer

📅 Schedule / What's Included:
• 🟢 **Friday 9/4** — Intro to the training (1 hr) + Night Party (4 hrs, open to the public)
• 🟡 **Saturday 9/5** — Afternoon Training (4 hrs) + Night Soirée (4 hrs, MoSD participants only)
• 🔵 **Sunday 9/6** — Afternoon Training (4 hrs) + Early Evening Social (3 hrs, open to the public)
• 🟣 **Monday 9/7** — Afternoon Training (3 hrs)
