About this Event
Join instructor, Carmen Therriault, for Mastering Your Mirrorless Camera! In a small classroom environment, learn the art of storytelling through photography, emphasizing core standard features of interchangeable lens cameras, including shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and white balance. We’ll learn how to use light, focus, and composition to create unique individual stories with every exposure.
This is a 2-session workshop. Both sessions start at 10:30am and conclude at 2:30pm, and both are taking place in the Waskasoo Kiwanis Boardroom located in the Red Deer Public Library. To access the Boardroom, please visit the Security desk on the main level.
Required materials:
- Interchangeable lens camera
- Memory card
- Fully charged battery
- Tripod (optional)instruction manual (optional, but highly recommended. Printed, or on a tablet or phone.)
- Pen
