Why is this topic important for team leaders?
Far too many people leaders can shy away from giving constructive feedback or coaching people when they need to. This encourages people to disengage, feel stuck and get frustrated at work. This takes up time and creates avoidable stress and conflict. It’s your timely communication that creates a culture of accountability, improvement and growth in your team and organisation. Holding back feedback creates gaps in your expectations of people and their performance and behaviour at work. When you turn reluctant to engage in candid and fair feedback, it allows low performance to linger and encourages poor behaviour to continue, and even escalate. This workshop can help you offer timely, respectful, specific and actionable feedback that enables self-development and progress for your people.
