To celebrate the release of the new album 'Let's Rock This Place', Marty Wilde visits Kingston to play a seated short acoustic set with a Q&A, at Kingston College.
Brand new album from legendary rock 'n' roll icon Marty Wilde.
Created with huge Wilde fan Darrel Higham, long- term touring guitarist with Imelda May, session player with Chrissie Hynde and Jeff Beck and member of The Kat Men with Slim Jim Phantom. Together, they have delivered an intoxicating, exciting and fresh musical experience comprising some classic hits paired with some unique adaptations.
'Let's Rock This Place' is an exciting, full-blown 12- track album, incorporating not only the talents of the original bona fide rock 'n' roll legend, Marty Wilde, but with the exhilarating addition of Darrel Higham And The Enforcers, an ensemble acclaimed as one of the country's leading rockabilly outfits. Marty Wilde released the album 'Running Together' in 2020 which gave him a presence in the UK's Official Charts in each of eight successive decades. He celebrated his 85th birthday in April 2024 with a single release, 'Two Eyes Streaming',
