Join us for Martoberfest, our Munich-style Oktoberfest celebration under the big white tent at the corner of 3rd and Virginia Street. BEER: We'll have several authentic German beers brewed with all-German ingredients including Martoberfest our authentic Märzen style Oktoberfest beer. We'll also have Helms Pils (German-style Pilsner), Whammo! (German Hefeweizen) and, new this year: Festbier. If you visit Germany's Oktoberfest celebrations, you'll notice their Oktoberfest beers are a bit lighter and golden in color. Known as Festbier, this malty but crushable style is a treat, and we'll have our version of it starting at our Pre-Party Friday night. Watch for details! All our German beers will be available in our commemorative authentic 1 Liter German Stein!
FOOD: We'll be serving up brats with kraut, meatballs and our original giant Bavarian pretzel outside at the tent. The full menu is always available, just order it for pickup and bring it outside to the tent!
FUN: Try your hand at Hammershlogen for a chance to win a free beer*! Wear your best dirndl and lederhosen outfits and we'll award prizes for the best dressed throughout the day. At 4pm we'll hold our stein holding contest for men and women's divisions*. The first 10 people to sign up in each division will become our contestants. Look for the sign-up sheet where you order beer.
