Readings/PerformancesVolunteer Performers Requested
Audience encouraged
7 hours of readings of the speeches and letters of Dr. MLK JR, or performances of work inspired by him or the cause of addressing social or racial injustice
Group letter writing campaign and art creation will also be encouraged
As an all ages, all abilities community space, we encourage anyone who wants to perform or participate in any way, not limited to: reading, presenting poetry, rapping, singing, dancing, live painting, mime, presenting an original movie or presentation. My spaces are primarily set up for verbal and visual presentations. If you need more space, please tell me so I can make sure your participation is accommodated.
You do not need to stay for the entire day. You are welcome to stay for the entire event. If you can only stay a short while, please let me know your preferred time so I can build a schedule of performances, which, with permission from each performer, I will share here.
There is no charge for participating in this event for performers or spectators.

With sufficient interest, this event may be live-streamed, allow virtual performances, or recorded for future watching with individual consent for each performer.
Ideally, performance blocks will be 15 - 30 minutes.
