Join us for a unique experience where you can interact with our opossums while practicing yoga, enhancing your connection to the natural world. At an opossum-themed yoga session at The Insect Asylum, you can expect a truly unique and enchanting experience. As you step into our serene studio, you'll be greeted by the calming ambiance of nature-inspired decor and the gentle presence of Opal, our baby opossum and Hazel, our elderly opossum. The session will begin with a grounding meditation to help you connect with your surroundings and set a mindful intention for your practice.
Throughout the class, our experienced yoga instructor will guide you through a series of poses and breathing exercises designed to promote relaxation, flexibility, and inner peace. Opal & Hazel will make occasional appearances, offering moments of interaction that add a playful and heartwarming element to your practice. Whether she’s curiously exploring the room or gently resting nearby, Hazel and Opal’s presence is sure to enhance your connection to nature and bring a smile to your face.
Expect a mix of gentle stretches, balance poses, and deep breathing exercises, all tailored to accommodate various skill levels. As you leave, you’ll carry with you not just the physical benefits of yoga, but also a sense of joy and connection fostered by spending time with Opal and our vibrant community at The Insect Asylum.
