Marlie Collins is a diverse vocalist. Over the past 6 years, she’s performed multiple genres of music including classical, musical theatre, rock, soul and pop on stages across the globe. Now, Marlie is taking her original music back to her roots; gospel soul with an infusion of ‘70s funk.It has taken some time for Marlie to truly find her sound and style. Born and raised in Saskatoon SK, as the youngest of five, Marlie learned to sing and dance around the house with her brothers and sisters. She became heavily involved in musical theatre; always the goofy performer and began taking voice lessons at the age of 15 (Lord knows she was pitchy). Musical theatre became her life but the sweet sounds of soul always had her heart.
