About this Event
So you want to be a vendor at an artist market—but you’re not sure what actually makes a booth successful? This hands-on, tell-it-like-it-is workshop pulls back the curtain on the best-kept secrets of thriving at art markets.
We’ll talk honestly about what really sells (and why), how to price your work with confidence, and how thoughtful packaging can increase perceived value and repeat customers. You’ll learn how to design a booth display that draws people in, tells your story, and makes it easy for buyers to say yes.
Participants in this workshop could expect to gain:
- Clarity on What Sells (and Why): A deeper understanding of what products and presentation styles actually attract buyers at art markets—based on real-world experience rather than theory.
- Pricing Confidence: Practical strategies to set prices that reflect both the value of their craft and market realities, helping them move past uncertainty or underpricing.
- Packaging Insights: Tips for using packaging and presentation to elevate the perceived value of their work, encourage repeat purchases, and build a recognizable brand identity.
- Booth Design Know-How: Guidance on how to design an engaging booth that tells their story, maximizes limited space, and invites customers to browse and buy.
- Sales and Customer Engagement Skills: Techniques for connecting authentically with potential buyers, handling transactions smoothly, and turning casual browsers into loyal customers.
- A Personalized Action Plan: Time to reflect, sketch, or plan improvements to their own booth setup and product presentation—so they leave ready to apply what they learned at their next market.
