An evening of live music at littlefield! Special guest TBA!
About this Event

Mario Diaz de Leon presents a performance of the live electronic album “Heart Thread”, in celebration of its recent release on the Denovali label. Across two 20-minute pieces scored for an ensemble of synthesizers, woodwind timbres, and electronic percussion, the music conveys a pilgrimage from the meditative to the kinetic and back, pursuing an immersive, ecstatic sound that encompasses hypnotic minimalism and expansive variations. The evening features lighting design by Nicholas Houfek (of International Contemporary Ensemble), as well as an opening solo set by Michael Beharie, performing new work for voice, acoustic guitar and electronics.
