ON and ON and ON ON and ON är en kraftfull påminnelse om människans behov av att samlas, dela och röra sig tillsammans.Utgångspunkten finns i en av våra äldsta sociala ritualer: att dansa tillsammans, rytmiskt under en längre tid. Genom historien har dans byggt energi, läkt sår, skapat tillhörighet, firat livet och genererat styrka. Här blir den tidlösa linedancen The Electric Slide en kollektiv praktik. Några av Malmös finaste dansare rör sig i en oavbruten loop till housemusik i en ombonad miljö. Pulsen bryts aldrig, rytmen är konstant och rummet vibrerar av liv. Publiken bjuds in att delta på sina egna villkor. Sitt, stå, ligg ner eller dansa med. Gränser suddas ut och ett gemensamt rum uppstår där olikheter möts genom kroppens språk.

The starting point lies in one of our oldest social rituals: dancing together, rhythmically, over an extended period of time. Throughout history, dance has built energy, healed wounds, created belonging, celebrated life, and generated strength. Here, the timeless line dance The Electric Slide becomes a collective practice. Some of Malmö’s finest dancers move in a continuous loop to house music in a warm and intimate setting. The pulse never breaks, the rhythm is constant, and the space vibrates with life. The audience is invited to join on their own terms – sit, stand, lie down, or dance along. Boundaries dissolve, and a shared space emerges where differences meet through the language of the body.
