Mardi Gras Shabbat

This inclusive service mashes up two holidays all about letting the good times roll: Mardi Gras and Rosh Chodesh Adar, which marks the beginning of the Hebrew month of Adar, a time of increased joy.

DC-based ensemble DuPont Brass teams up with Rabbi Aaron and Sixth & I’s musicians for a service blending contemporary and traditional elements, featuring music inspired by the sounds of New Orleans.
