Marcia Resnick was a hero of the Punk Rock Art movement at the heart of the Beat-Punk Period in New York from 1975-1982. Her work survives in her classic books of photographs, "Landscape", "Re-Visions" and "Punks Poets and Provocateurs". She divided her time between working, teaching and building friendships with her peers like Johnny Thunders, Mick Jagger and Andy Warhol. Back then everybody loved Marcia. Dig her now! The Marcia Resnick Memorial celebrating her life and work features speakers who worked with her on the books, benefited from her teaching at local colleges, collaborated with her and followed her throughout an extraordinarily active life. Music, slide shows, and film clips tie the whole tribute together. Don’t be late!
