About this Event
The world is more divided than ever, but at ATW, we come together. This is not your typical Open Mic—it's a stage for bold voices, unfiltered ideas, and meaningful conversation. We are seeking individuals with widely diverse viewpoints to step forward and express their thoughts - - because we believe it is essential to listen to and gain a better understanding of each other’s different worldviews.
Join us on Wednesday, March 26th at 7PM, in-person or over Zoom. Whether through spoken word, monologues, or thoughts on current events, this is a space to share your perspective on real societal or political issues. You will be welcomed, heard, and respected. Our mission at The Actors Theatre Workshop is to provide creative training to help people fulfill their potential and to examine and understand the forces that shape our society.
Here’s what to expect:
- An evening led by our renowned Artistic Director, , a master facilitator in conflict resolution and building bridges between people, ensuring safety and respect for all.
- A brave, respectful space where all viewpoints are welcome.
- A chance to express your truth through performance and storytelling.
- The opportunity to engage with different perspectives in an open forum.
If you’re willing to share and willing to listen, we want you in the room.
Guidelines:
- Your piece must reflect a real societal or political issue.
