Our next Repair Cafe is coming up Saturday, March 22 from 11-3 pm at University Centre of U of G. Bring your broken items and get them fixed with the help of our expert volunteers, and learn how it's done!You can bring:
-electronics
-small electrical appliances
-clothing
-computers
-clocks
-bikes
and much more.
We would like to kindly ask the visitors not to bring the following items to the Repair Café: items which need welding, refrigeration equipment (coolers, bar fridges, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, etc.), gas-powered equipment (lawn mowers, line trimmers, chain saws, etc.), items operating on a power greater than 120 volts and tools and appliances from other countries operating on different currents.
How do I get there?
The Repair Cafe will be on the ground floor of the University Centre, which is located off South Ring Road (click for Google Maps link). Signage will be placed to help you find your way in from the bus loop and Lot P31.
Guelph Transit: The following routes stop right outside the University Centre on University Circle: 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 15, 17, 18, and 99
Parking: Lot P31 is the closest parking location, but you may park in any visitor lot for free. Visit the University of Guelph's interactive map to see all visitor parking lots.
