Every begonia lover has a beginning — a gifted plant, a happy accident, a moment of curiosity that grew into something bigger. This month, we’re celebrating those origins.Join us for a warm, story‑filled gathering where members share how their passion for begonias first took root. From first plants to lifelong obsessions, we’ll explore the journeys, lessons, surprises, and sparks that shaped our love for these remarkable plants.
Alongside our storytelling program, this will be our third month of building stock for the Summer Begonia Sale. Attendees are invited to bring begonias, cuttings, and leaves to share and swap. Growing medium, tips, and plenty of enthusiasm will be provided — you bring any vessels or containers you’ll need to pot up or take your new treasures home.
