Bangor Area Derby will be hosting our learning scrimmage on March 13. Due to the size of our facility, this is a CLOSED event that is not open to spectators!This scrimmage is open only to scrimmage eligible skaters, refs, and NSOs. BAD is an all gender league, so skaters of all genders are also welcome.
Teams will be created at the scrimmage once we have an idea of how many skaters are present, and SO/NSO positions will be assigned at the scrimmage as well. This is a learning scrimmage, so stoppages during the scrimmage for discussions will likely occur.
We encourage any new members from our league and other Maine leagues to join us so they can learn the game and the many positions/jobs for NSOs. Due to the size of our facility, we do skate on a smaller, non regulation track that is outlined by a no-trip track. For skaters who would like to participate, please bring both a black and a white shirt and numbered arm bands if you have them. Numbers will have to be visible for our officials.
There is a $5 drop in fee that will need to be paid before you come for the event, and all non-BAD members will need to sign 3 waivers linked below. Payment for the drop in fee can be Venmo'd to @BangorAreaDerbyBadOmens (look for the BAD logo)!
