About this Event
Start a Charitable Clinic in Your Community
Have you ever thought about starting a faith-based charitable care ministry? Do you feel called to begin your own ministry, but don’t know where to start? Are you involved in an active ministry and looking for ways to share ideas and concerns with others doing similar work?
Then come to the Replication Workshop at Church Health, Memphis, TN to learn from our model of growing from a small clinic serving the working uninsured to a national leader in the faith/health movement.
Our two-day Replication Workshop is designed to inform, encourage, and inspire people who want to start or are operating a charitable health clinic. Ministries in all developmental stages will find this workshop helpful and guiding. Directors and senior leadership from all facets of Church Health will give you an intensive overview and tour of our program ministries and supporting operations. Staff will share detailed plans to follow the Church Health model in starting or expanding a clinic in your community.
All content presented at the workshop will prompt and challenge you to think practically and strategically. To facilitate this goal, attendees will be expected to:
- Work individually and with your team on presentation activities
- Give a 5-10 minute presentation (more information to come about this!)
- Enthusiastically engage in activities and discussions
Upon completion of this workshop, you will be able to:
- Understand the significance of relationship building within your community and internal planning group
- Build comradery using identified challenges and opportunities expressed by your Replication cohort
- Learn to develop an impactful message and communication strategies
- Increase your level of inspiration to start or expand your charitable care ministry
- Increase your level of confidence to start or expand your charitable care ministry
- Assess your next steps using practical tools learned at the Replication Workshop
Cost
$100.00 for the first three workshop attendees (includes workshop workbook) and $25.00 for additional workshop attendees in your group/organization.
