Lost Property present a Saturday matinee gig at The Prince Albert: 2-5pm--------------
In their 13th year, with seven albums and countless gigs to their name, MAP 71 are a difficult band to define… art pop - post punk - electro - psychedelia? Powered by Lisa Jayne’s lyrics and vocal style and Andy Pyne’s drumming and electronics, one thing is certain: MAP 71 have evolved into something unique
Their amazing new album - The Feral Jinx - was recorded in the heat of summer 2025 and features studio recordings of pieces from recent MAP 71 live sets, plus two brand new compositions. The Feral Jinx veers away from their spoken-wave roots towards wordless vocals and structured soundscapes. Moving from darkly moody to euphoric, the album is less obviously confrontational, but still defiant and absolutely MAP 71. The Feral Jinx will be released in April 2026, and available from the merch table at the gig
