Many Flavours One City - Burnhill FC CIC Fundraiser - Ceilidh, Fete, & Food

Join us for an fun and delicious day packed with a Ceilidh, a lively Fete, and delicious Food! Come along, enjoy great vibes, and support Burnhill FC CIC in a welcoming, community-packed fundraiser. You don't need to know the club to come along! Bring your friends, get ready to dance, eat, and celebrate the many flavours that make our city shine!

Burnhill is a grassroots football club that is inclusive by design. Established in 2020, to meet urgent community need for accessible grassroots football, we have grown to over 100 active players participating over 500 times month, across 22 sessions.

Our players range in age from 18-49, 72% of our players are from global majority ethnicities, and the majority are in precarious financial circumstances (73% of our players can't cover their full costs. 45% can't contribute at all.)

We currently recieve no Govt, council or charity funding instead working on a model built on community contribution with support coming via members, donors, and sponsors. We need your help to meet a growing demand and to continue proactively providing opportunities to marginalised and minoritised players and growing a community of inclusion, dignity, and positivity!

We are delighted to be hosted by The Pyramid at Anderston, a vibrant community venue easily accessible by public transport (just a 5 minute walk from Anderston or Charing Cross stations) and a 3-minute drive from the M8 (Junction 19). On-street parking is available and there is free disabled parking nearby. Most of the venue is wheelchair-accessible via platform lifts; accessible toilets and a full Changing Places facility are provided.
