In this immersive workshop, Joshua will guide you through the living practice of Vedic chanting. You'll begin by understanding the ritual and cultural world these practices emerged from, then move into the subtleties of Sanskrit pronunciation, discovering how sound itself carries meaning and intention.
Together, we'll chant a curated selection of mantras and sūkta (Vedic hymns) in call and response, letting the ancient words come alive through your voice. Between each practice, Joshua will illuminate the philosophy, mythology, and mysticism woven into these texts - revealing layers of meaning that have resonated across centuries.
