Local folk trio, Mama Look!, will take the stage at the historic Perry City Friends Meetinghouse on Sunday, February 23rd for a special fundraiser concert in support of the beloved Quaker gathering space. Recently formed and already well known for their soaring harmonies, heartfelt songwriting and an enchanting blend of two guitars and one cello, Amy Puryear, Uniit Carruyo, and McKenzie Jones bring songs of resilience, love and community to this intimate afternoon/evening of music.
Joining Mama Look! are two of Ithaca’s most cherished musicians: Tenzin Chopak and Travis Knapp, each performing solo sets. Chopak’s deeply soulful songwriting and intricate guitar work have captivated audiences far and wide, while Knapp’s uplifting folk melodies and powerful storytelling bring warmth and inspiration to all.
This concert is more than just an afternoon of incredible music - it’s a chance to support the Perry City Friends Meetinghouse, a community space dedicated to peace, justice, and spiritual connection. The Meetinghouse is currently the home for Curiosity Collective, SingSong Music Classes, Women's Wellness Wednesdays, ArtsCool and more.
Funds raised will help maintain and preserve the Meetinghouse and grounds for future generations to continue to gather, enjoy and benefit from. Built in the late 1800’s, the structure is in need of exterior painting, full building insulation, a new roof, and a parking area. These major projects need funding in the coming year.

Admission: $15 - 30 suggested donation at the door, all proceeds benefit the Meetinghouse
An assortment of fresh baked goods will be available for purchase as well
