About this Event
Making Sense of Wellbeing - How to improve your mood
Our wellbeing workshops are designed to help you enhance your relationship with your child with additional needs, build resilience, reduce stress and help you to relax.
Having low mood and feeling overwhelmed is something that we all feel at times. This workshop aims to provide you with strategies to help improve your mood and explore ways to prevent setbacks. It will also include time during the session to learn some guided mindfulness practice.
Delivered via Zoom by parent-carer Esther Hunt, a registered and accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a Mindfulness Teacher trained by the British Mindfulness Institute.
Please note this workshop is funded by Reaching Families for parents and carers of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities in West Sussex only. It is not suitable for professionals.
After booking - Once you have booked a place you will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite. Prior to the workshop you will receive a link to access the session. You will need to download Zoom in advance but you don’t need to set up an account if you don’t wish to. Zoom can be used on PC’s/Laptops and mobile devices such as iPad, phones and tablets. If you have any questions, please get in touch and we will happily talk you through setting this up if required.
