The focus of this workshop is on making topical creams for therapeutic use using herbs and other natural substances.The workshop will include both lecture and demonstration of how to prepare medicinal creams. It will cover all aspects of the process of making medicinal creams using only natural ingredients, including:
* Different methods for preparing creams.
* Understanding emulsification.
* Herbs used in medicinal creams.
* Using infused oils, teas, and tinctures.
* Adding Bach flowers, homeopathics, essential oils, and other remedies to creams.
* The healing properties of different base oils.
* Storage and preservation of creams.
* Jars and equipment.
* Comparison with other types of topical preparations.
Date: Saturday, April 26th, 10 am to 5 pm.
Location: You can attend this workshop either in person at Living Earth School of Herbalism in Maple, Ontario, or through Zoom. There is a $20 material fee for those attending in person.
