About this Event
Come along to the LSE archives to explore the unique pieces of queer history housed there, take inspiration from untold stories and come away with your own devised piece of work.
Join Molly, Cassia and Ella from Doubletake Theatre in exploring the extraordinary queer histories found in the Hall-Carpenter Archive, from the legalisation of homosexuality, to the AIDS crisis, to joyful activism – there are so many stories waiting to be told. In this exciting workshop we will explore the fantastic creative resource that is archives - using written, visual, and physical sources to inspire our own pieces of art, theatre and storytelling, as well as showing you how to navigate the archive for your own artistic projects. This is a great way to connect with other creatives, learn new skills, and come away having produced new work.
