You’ve built 92 Lego towers, explained 14 broken remotes, and somehow ended up in a glitter-based science project. Again. It’s time to channel all that creative chaos into something actually fun.
✨ Welcome to MakeTime for Kids.
It’s the one afternoon a month where we show your kid a soldering iron (safely), show them what a robot actually does, and prove that magnets are basically sorcery. You’ll pretend to understand it all and they’ll love every second.
Here’s what the event typically includes:
🔹 Programming Station – Real logic, real fun, no pressure.
🔹 Robots + Circuits – Our tech tables are ready for minds to blow.
🔹 Woodshop Kits – Hammering, sanding, and full sensory satisfaction.
🔹 Electronics & Soldering – New kits and guided hands-on magic.
👨👩👧👦 Drop in anytime between 1 and 4PM. Just $10 per kid/parent duo.
We’re volunteer-run and passionate about building cool stuff with curious kids.
📍 Where: Makerspace Nanaimo
📅 When: Saturday, June 14 | 1:00–4:00PM
💵 Cost: $10 per child/adult combo
💡 Who: Ages 5–14 (but everyone’s welcome)
