As you learn techniques to take your paper weaving beyond the over & under of construction paper from elementary school, you will be encouraged to consider how your collage captures your story and experience with your favorite brand(s). Bring in paper and thin cardboard products of the brands that mean the most to you to create an upcycled collage.
This workshop will show you the basics of managing the process of paper weaving and will include how to cut the warp and weft for weaving, tips and tricks for the weaving process, and best practices for gluing.
The materials in this workshop will be cut into strips, so please bring copies if you want to preserve the original.
