Established in 2015 and powered by STEAMhouse at Birmingham City University, Maker Monday is a monthly event where you meet and learn from amazing and inspirational people from across the broad creative, cultural and tech sectors in the West Midlands and beyond.
We are excited to be teaming up with the Neighbourhood Futures Festival on a Friday afternoon to run a unique Maker Monday .... on a (hopefully sunny) Friday. We will be running a workshop at 12 pm on Friday 29th June. Come and join us at Birmingham Settlement.
We are part of an action-packed festival filled with inspiring speakers, talks and workshops, so come and join us as part of an entertaining day. Link.More details tbc.

Maker Monday is an established event based in Birmingham, UK and powered by STEAMhouse, a new centre for innovation and creation. We are uniting talented people from different backgrounds in the arts, science, technology, engineering and maths – the STEAM sectors – to bring amazing new ideas to life.
• The Speakers: Meet highly-curated leaders and creative innovators who will share their experiences and expertise. Our speakers will share what they’ve learned over the years, and what they continue to learn, so you walk away with ideas, insights and inspiration.
• The Crowd: Maker Monday brings together a diverse crowd of creative producers and enthusiasts, students and educators.
• The Event: The night starts off with a chance to mingle and meet someone new and opportunities to share your insights as well as learn and be inspired by our speakers.
