As the Wheel turns toward renewal, we gather to honour the quickening Earth by crafting traditional corn husk dolls — simple, sacred figures that represent the indwelling spirit of the harvest and the promise of return; they become vessels of intention, symbols of fertility, protection, and the rebirth stirring beneath the soil.During this hands-on workshop, you will learn to prepare and bind natural husks and shape your figure without stitches or glue (as tradition dictates). We will explore the symbolism of the Maiden aspect of the Goddess, the balance of light and dark, and the quiet magic of crafting with mindful hands in a calm and gentle space.
You will create and will leave with a handmade doll, with a charm for personal intention and the bright promise of the season. 🌿
For £20, your unique spring welcoming doll will be created using natural corn husk, cottons and sustainable charms, with love and intention, uniquely you.
Pre booking essential as spaces will be limited. Call into the Number1 Coffee Shop, Darwen or tel 01254 922294 for booking and payment details.
