Fill The Gap, A Speed Friending Night for Women
Making friends as an adult is hard.Making authentic girlfriends can feel even harder.
If you live in Colorado, this might hit extra close. So many of us moved here for the mountains, the work, a fresh start, or a new chapter, and then realized how isolating it can feel once you arrive. Colorado is a transplant state, which means a lot of us are building community from scratch.
Fill The Gap was created for that exact reason.
FTG started with two friends who kept hearing the same thing from women over and over again, I want deeper friendships, but I do not know where to find them, and I am tired of putting myself out there only to feel awkward or unseen. So we built something we wished existed.
This night is a guided speed friending experience designed to make meeting new women feel easier and more human. It is structured enough to remove the awkwardness, but relaxed enough that you do not have to perform or impress anyone.
Think speed dating, but for friendship. No forced mingling. No pressure to be anything other than yourself.
You will move through one on one conversations with other women using thoughtful prompts that help things flow naturally. We start light, go a little deeper, and talk honestly about friendship and connection. At the end, there is time to hang out, exchange info, and keep chatting with anyone you felt good connecting with.

Women who are new to Colorado or rebuilding communityWomen who want real friendships without pressure
Women who are tired of surface level connection
You do not need to be outgoing.
You do not need to know anyone. You do not need to have the right thing to say.
Just come as you are. We will guide the rest.
Here’s what you can expect from the event!
- First Drink included in Ticket
- PAID PARKING : Parking is $9 (please choose parking kiosk not qr code.. choose hourly and pick 3 hours) in the Left Hand lot south of the building (make sure you tell the parking attendants you're going to left hand otherwise they will try to charge you Mission Ballroom parking cost :) Other options are to park in the RTD lot nearby (free for 24 hours. IF your are coming from I-70, the GPS might take you straight to misson ballroom parking lot through mission. You'll want to pass that extrance and turn left at the light :)
- 30 women max. You will connect with 8 people during the game and more if you stay to mingle! Your first drink is included in the ticket. NA/Sodas available as well.
- ALL FUNDS for this event cover the space, your first drink, and platform fees. Every dollar goes back into hosting the event. We are not here to make a profit, we’re here to create community!
Event Details: 6-8pm (ish- you can stay and mingle if you’d like until 8:30).
6pm- Please aim to get to the venue between 6-6:15.Check in. Grab name tag. Grab a drink. Grab a seat!
6:15pm- Welcome, intro, guidelines and then the GAME STARTS. This is a social experience, please strive to show up on time it only works if we all work together!
6:30-7:30pm Make new girlfriends in our speed friending event
7:30pm Exchange contact information, mingle with others,leave feeling good you did something courageous and tried something new to make an intentional friend!

This is a social experiment, and for it to work we all need to work together.
If you sign up and later realize you cannot make it, we understand life happens. We just ask that you let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to someone on the waitlist. This helps the experience feel smooth,respectful, and fun for everyone :)
