About this Event
Learn how to weave your own reed basket with MoFA!
Inspired by “Woven Worlds,” an exhibition of baskets created by the Karuk and Hupa Nations, the Seminole Tribe of Florida, the Eastern Band of Cherokee, Hopi Tribe, and the Tlingit Nation, join us for a basket-weaving workshop.
We will offer two sessions in MoFA’s Upper Galleries on Thursday, March 5th, from 5:30 to 7:00PM, and Thursday, March 12th, from 5:30 to 7:00PM.
Pre-registration is required; sign up through the link in our bio or talk to a MoFA Staff member for more information. All materials will be provided, and free parking will be available in the Call St Garage.
“Woven Worlds” was curated by Dr. Kristin Dowell’s ARH 3930: Introduction to Native American Art students last fall.
