Course Overview:
This class promises to elevate your sewing skills as you dive into the intricacies of crafting a bag with lining and interfacing. Will give an opportunity to explore about different bags and making techniques.
What You'll Learn:
Bag Crafting Expertise:
- Learn to stitch a bag.
- How to read and trace the pattern.
- How to cut the fabric.
- Understand seam allowances.
- Understand grain line.
- How to finish fabric edges with overlocker.
- How to stitch an open seam.
- Fastening solutions.
- Techniques how to finish with top stitching.
- Technique how to bag out the bag with the lining.
- Technique how to finish bag’s corners.
- Learn about interfacing and how to apply on the fabric.
- Learn how to make straps.
- Learn about different fastenings.
Sewing Fundamentals:
- Develop a solid understanding of stitching terminology.
- Gain confidence in stitching on flat bed machine and overlocker.
Fabric and Technique Exploration:
- Grasp the diversity of fabrics suitable for bags and the corresponding stitching techniques.

Course Level and Prerequisites: Intermediate - Ideal for those who attended any of our classes previously or with prior industrial machine experience.
Please bring your own Fabric scissors if you have one.
