Chirpcuterie Boards are a great way to attract local birds to your backyard and provide them with a variety of food options!
About this Event

Join Evan for a hands-on workshop to build a Chirpcuterie Board for your feathered backyard friends. In this class, you’ll learn practical woodworking skills such as marking and measuring and cutting pieces accurately using common workshop machines such as the chop saw, drill press, and table saw. Each participant will create their own piece and receive guidance at every step of the process.

By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a fully assembled, ready to use Chirpcuterie Board and the skills and knowledge to make similar projects at home. This is a great opportunity to build something personal, learn new skills, and enjoy a fun, private class. All tools and material are provided.

Our instructor:

Evan is a woodworker, educator, and repair-minded maker who specializes in teaching practical skills with a clear, accessible approach. With years of experience at the Ottawa Tool Library, Ottawa City Woodshop, and through private instruction, Evan focuses on giving people the confidence to work with tools safely, efficiently, and creatively. Whether it’s hand tools, shop skills, home repair, or small furniture projects, Evan’s teaching style emphasizes problem-solving, good technique, and building real capability that students can use long after the workshop ends.

NOTES:

a) Workshops are transferable to another person and only refundable if we have people on the waiting list who can take your spot. Please make sure this date works with your schedule.
