Celebrate International Biodiversity Day with the University of Ottawa at the official launch of All Starts With Seeds: Farmer‑Scientist Journeys Towards Biodiversity and A Secure Future by Dr. Awegechew Teshome. This groundbreaking work weaves together scientific insight, field experience, and the lived knowledge of farming communities to illuminate the essential role of biodiversity in sustaining life and securing our collective future.
The event features a keynote reflection by Dr. Teshome, a moderated conversation, and an open dialogue with the audience. Participants will explore how seeds carry culture, resilience, and hope and why protecting biodiversity is one of the most urgent tasks of our time.
Open to students, researchers, policymakers, and the public.
