Come along and have some fun learning how to make an attractive vase for dried flowers or succulents. Bring a favourite or older book - with a hard spine is best - or choose from the selection provided.
Workshop 1 is aimed at adults and shows you how to make use of old books rather than throw them out. These vases look good on your shelf and make a cheap and cheerful gift.
Workshop 2 is aimed at children from age 4 (with parental support) and shows them how to make a new use for a book from their younger years.
Our presenter Sharon McGann, is a book lover, adult educator and Willunga Environment Centre volunteer. She loves being crafty and is constantly looking for ways to reuse items and make low-cost gifts.
