On Sat., Nov. 15 from 9 to 11 AM, join us at Mahoney and give your input on specific community space areas at the proposed new City Center. Your input will help inform the design of the project. Coffee and snacks provided!👉 WHAT: During this lively session, attendees will weigh in on community space options at the proposed new Mahoney City Center site. Community members will be invited to give input on indoor and outdoor spaces, the Library, city service areas, community-centered elements of the Police Station, and access to and around the site.
👉 WHEN: Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 9 to 11 AM. The event will begin right at 9 AM. Doors will open at 8:45. Please plan to arrive early and stay for the duration of the event.
👉 WHERE: Former Mahoney School (240 Ocean St.) gym. Use the rear entrance on Broadway.
👉 WHO: South Portland community members, committee members, City staff and members of the project design team
👉 WHY: The Mahoney City Center Committee and design team want to know what community spaces and features South Portland residents would like to see as part of the proposed new City Center at Mahoney. Your feedback will be used to inform the design of the proposed project.

Please note that while the Mahoney building is not ADA accessible, there will be an accommodation for those unable to use stairs. A tour of Mahoney will follow the event.
