The South Portland Parks and Recreation Department is excited to invite you to participate in our first annual Health & Wellness Fair! This event will be held on Saturday, November 15th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the South Portland Community Center at 21 Nelson Rd, South Portland.This event promotes community wellness by providing access to free and low-cost health screening and preventive care education, such as:
healthy eating information and demonstrations
Primary Care Provider information
blood pressure and blood sugar screening
active living education and demonstrations
and more!
The public are welcome and encouraged to attend for free to visit, learn, and receive health assessments. No registration needed.
Vendors, please register online by October 18 at southportlandme.myrec.com. ****This is the ONLY registration, beware of scams and do not send anyone money for a space outside of our South Portland website****
We have space available if you would like to book a 20-30 minute presentation or demo if you will have an interactive activity for people to participate in (yoga, stretching, exercise class, meditation, CPR/first aid, Narcan use etc). Please indicate your interest in your registration form.
We will provide a 10x10 space for participants to set-up but you must bring your own tables and anything else needed for your area. Electricity is limited but available upon request until capacity is met. Extra space may also be provided if needed. Please indicate any needs under "other requests".
