About this Event
This event brings together Safta’s great food, drinks, and open play in a lively, social setting.
Mahjong 101 is the perfect introduction to Mahjong for beginners! During this fun and approachable lesson, we’ll cover the basics to get everyone comfortable with the tiles, rules, strategy, and flow of the game. By the end of the session, we’ll have played at least two full games so everyone can put their new skills into action and leave feeling confident to play on their own.
New & Experienced Players welcome!
Mahj Squad provides everything needed to play, including tiles, racks, mats, and all teaching materials. Each guest will also receive our signature Mahjong 101 guidebook to keep for future games. Whether you’re coming with friends or joining solo, our goal is to make learning Mahjong feel easy, social, and fun!
