Follow the winds to the Rook Room Game Lounge & Cafe on every second Friday (8AM-12PM) and fourth Thursday (4PM-8PM) where we will host Mahjong Open Play.This traditional yet modern game is bringing in new players every day. Have you been waiting to try it? Don’t be a joker and come on down! Beginners will learn the basics and seasoned pros will be able to find another community meetup to play their favorite game.
We will have limited tiles available to play with, so please bring your own supplies into our space. We will have a few copies of regular and large print Mahjong Cards available for use during this event.
All styles of play are welcome at this event including American, Chinese, or Riishi. You can stop by any time during the Open Play hours and stay for a little or awhile.
The full cafe and food menu will be available for purchase during this event. There is no ticket fee associated with Mahjong Open Play, but PlayPasses are required to enter the Rook Room Game Lounge and Cafe every day after 4PM.
