The 2026 Comprehensible Iowa Conference is excited to announce an amazing line up for our Friday workshop which will include Justin Slocum-Bailey and Carrie Toth with Kristy Placido joining her as they share their amazing talents for your world language classroom! After our Friday workshop we will invite ALL attendees to join the board for happy hour and dinner!
Saturday will feature a line up of some of amazing educators from Iowa and the Midwest along with Justin Slocum-Bailey as the keynote!
The Friday workshop will begin at with doors opening for registration at 1:00 pm, and the workshops begining at 1:30 and concluding at 5:00. Justin Slocum-Bailey and Carrie Toth joined by Kristy Placido will be our featured workshop hosts. ALL attendees will have the opportunity to join conference goers at an evening dinner on your own, but full of conversation, connections, networking and friendships new and old! Details on the dinner party will be shared closer to the event!
Saturday's conference will begin with the doors opening at 7:30 am with registration and a continental breakfast. Sessions will begin promptly at 8:00. The day will be full of educators volunteering to share their expertise from across Iowa and the midwest! This year Iowa's very own Justin Slocum-Bailey will be our keynote!
Attendees have options to attend with a Friday only session, Saturday only session, or a Friday and Saturday ticket with the combo price discount! Additionally Saturday attendees can add the VIP experience to their cart with the opportunity to have lunch in a small setting with our keynote presenter! This is a first come first serve option!
