Loading and selecting a design
Fabric placement and hooping techniques

Class Fee: $65 – includes a starter kit with fabric and stabiliser
What to Bring:
Your embroidery sewing machine (including manual if available), foot pedal, power cord, and hoop(s)
A fully wound bobbin with bobbin fill
USB memory stick with your digital embroidery file
General sewing supplies (scissors, embroidery threads, unpicker, etc.)
About the Teacher
Ann-Maree McKay has over 10 years of experience in machine embroidery, having worked with major brands like Janome, Singer, and Brother. She previously owned a papercraft store in Canberra where she sold embroidery machines and taught classes. Ann has received two first-place awards at the Canberra Show for her machine embroidery projects. Now based in Albany, WA, she’s excited to share her expertise with you.
