Detachable Collar Workshop: Material Study
Overview
Join us for a hands-on fashion design workshop focused on the Detachable Collar as a modular accessory.
Participants will explore construction techniques, including cutting, assembling, and connecting pieces by sewing, serging or with eyelets, while experimenting with fabric manipulation.
Key Highlights
- Develop design thinking skills to generate, adapt, and refine ideas.
- Engage in a process-driven, iterative approach with a final showcase.
Instruction will be led by Leona Abdyli, Head Designer and CEO of MACEL Studios, along with experienced facilitators.
The session will feature a clear workflow supported by technical drawings, enabling participants to reproduce and recalibrate the collar independently.

Takeaway
Each participant will complete one collar and have the opportunity to display their work and receive a take-home bundle to continue their practice! ✨
