Macbeth & Banquo Work in Progress reimagines Shakespeare’s tragedy Macbeth as an epic tale where loyalty, love, and power collide. Created by William Grint and Nadeem Islam for Fuse Theatre’s Lighting The Fuse, this bold new adaptation comes to the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, bringing fresh perspective and BSL-led artistry to one of Shakespeare’s darkest stories.
Two Deaf soldiers, bound by brotherhood, rise together through battle. But when a dark prophecy takes hold, can their bond survive Macbeth’s hunger for power? Set amid Shakespeare’s world of political intrigue and supernatural horror, this powerful reworking reveals the devastating human cost of ambition.
This performance will be performed primarily in BSL with English voiceover.
Written by William Grint (after Shakespeare) and created with Fuse Theatre.
