Open Symbols Module, GlastonburyThis three day Symbols weekend introduces the basics of symbolic dowsing and the living language of symbols, as taught in the Médecine Symbolique training. It is an experiential, down to earth space to explore how the invisible speaks through dowsing rods, places, symptoms and everyday life, in a way that stays gentle, curious and human.
The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive. There is room for questions, shared discoveries and humour, so that learning is rooted in real experience rather than feeling like a polished presentation.
What is Médecine Symbolique?
Médecine Symbolique is a way of working with dowsing that treats the rods as a listening tool. Instead of trying to force a single right answer, the work pays attention to how life is already speaking through places, objects, symptoms, relationships and the small signs that cross our path.
Médecine Symbolique looks at symptoms, patterns and situations as carrying information, a bit like messages about what is going on beneath the surface of a life. It is interested in what is usually unconscious in us and how this can show up through places, relationships, the body and the subtler atmosphere around us. The rods act as a bio sensitive tool that points to the places, objects or memories that are linked with a question, so that hidden dynamics become clearer and easier to work with in everyday life.
The Symbols Weekend: what you will experience
Over the weekend participants are introduced to symbolic dowsing with rods and to the world of symbols as they appear through:
Objects and places indicated by the rods in nature, in the room, in personal belongings.
Dates, life events and synchronicities that form symbolic threads in a life story.
Houses and spaces that mirror the inner state and carry messages from the soul.
Through guided exercises, demonstrations and shared explorations, there is time to:
Learn how to hold and use the dowsing rods as a precise, heart centred tool of perception.
Recognise how symbolic messages appear in daily life and how to begin decoding them.
Meet the notion of blocked souls and explore how symbols can reveal stuck patterns seeking release.
Taste the foundations of Symbolic Family Constellations, where the rods help give voice to what has been hidden in the family system.
Who is this weekend for?
This weekend is ideal if:
There is curiosity about dowsing and a wish for an experiential introduction to a deeper, soul oriented way of working with rods.
There is a pull towards the language of symbols, dreams and synchronicities, and a sense that something is trying to speak.
There is existing experience as a therapist, healer or space holder and a wish to add a precise symbolic dimension to practice.
There has already been contact with Médecine Symbolique and there is a wish to revisit and deepen the Symbols module in a fresh group field. *Note: this is not essential.
No previous dowsing or energy work experience is required, only an openness to explore and a willingness to be surprised.
Practical details
Dates: Friday 27th to Sunday 29th March 2026.
Location: Chalice Well Meeting Room & The Avalon Room, Glastonbury Experience Courtyard.
Times: 9.30am for 10am start to approximately 6pm.
Each day there will be a one hour lunch break & two shorter tea breaks.
£250 for the full three days, payable to Claire and Pascal.
This Symbols weekend is one module within the wider 2025 to 26 Médecine Symbolique training in Glastonbury and can also be attended as a standalone workshop.
