Their music unfolds like a storm—dense guitars weaving luminous textures through distortion, while vocals rise like wind-whipped screams between serenity and chaos. Inspired by My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Alcest and Lantlôs, MØL create soundscapes that are both celestial and visceral.
Their 2014 debut EP introduced this tempestuous blend, while 2015’s follow-up II—produced by Jacob Bredahl—refined their sound into something unmistakably their own, earning acclaim for both their recordings and hypnotic live performances.
With 2018’s Jord (Holy Roar Records), MØL reached new heights—glacial melodies and tremolo-picked fury colliding in cinematic, cathartic arcs. A remastered reissue of their early EPs followed in 2019, and 2021’s Diorama (Nuclear Blast) expanded their palette with fragile beauty and thunderous crescendos.
Now, as they prepare their third album, MØL sharpen their sound further—melodies soar with clarity, vocals shift between blackened ferocity and haunting calm, and their sonic world feels more focused, emotional, and immersive than ever.
