Artificial intelligence and digitalization have the potential to radically change education and careers in the Humanities.However, we still have a poor idea of what students need to know to engage in these developments. How can we prepare
students to play a part in this transformation? What more can Una Europa institutions do to achieve this?
The AIHUMS101 project brings together 7 universities, 8 institutes, and 40 academics to answer these questions.
Our work includes producing a survey on current AI teaching within Una Europa institutions, a model of an introductory
syllabus to AI for the Humanities, and a toolkit to help integrate AI into existing courses.
The first AIHUMS101 workshop will bring together participants from diverse disciplines and institutions for meaningful
exchange on AI and education. Sessions will spark discussion around:
• Personal experiences of teaching about or with AI
• AI teaching and applications within different disciplines
• University leadership initiatives on AI and pedagogy
• New BA/MA courses on AI and the Humanities across Una Europa universities
